QSL DETAILS
On-line logs can be accessed as follows: EI3IO (including EJ3IO) S21BI A92IO.
All means of QSLing are in use at EI3IO and other calls. Logs are uploaded regularly to the http://www.eqsl.cc server.
EI3IO also participates in ARRL's Logbook of the World (LoTW) system http://www.arrl.org/lotw/. This is a repository of log records submitted by users from around the world. When both participants in a QSO submit matching QSO records to LoTW, the result is a QSL that can be used for ARRL award credit.
If you are a traditionalist
- QSL cards may be sent via the bureau to EI3IO for the following calls: A92IO, EJ3IO, F0CWN, G3SDL (including GD, GE, GI, GJ, GM, GU and GW variants), OZ3SDL and S21BI.
- You can still QSL Direct to EI3IO at the following address. Dave Court, ‘Connogue’, River Lane, Shankill, Co. Dublin, Ireland. A self addressed envelope and sufficient funds (US$2) for return post should be included. However cards sent to Ireland will be subject to significant delays, see below.
See the card you will receive from A92IO EI3IO or S21BI.
From September 2009 most outgoing QSL cards for ALL the above calls will be posted in the Kingdom of Bahrain. You must therefore include US$2 with your self addressed envelope. IRCs are not exchangable in the Kingdom and therefore QSLs with IRCs included for return postage are NOT acceptable. Confirmation for QSL-cards received in the post with IRCs, without sufficient funds for the return postage or a return envelope, will be sent via the bureau.
When EI3IO is resident in Ireland, direct QSLs are normally turned round in under 1 month. However since September 2009, mail may be forwarded from Ireland only once or twice per year. If you require a fast turn round (normally within 1 month) of your QSL card, please consider sending your QSL to Dave Court, PO Box 31183, Budaiya, Kingdom of Bahrain. Cards sent to Ireland or via EI3IO will only be actioned once or twice a year.
